La Fabrique: Fashion clothing made in Italy
Urban fine taste and retro-minimal chic: La Fabrique is the brand that dresses the cultured, wry woman who looks for exclusive details, true comfort and fine tailoring. In its own special niche, La Fabrique was born in 2002 as a merger of two spirits: the creativity of designer Marie-France Russeil and the pragmatism of Emanuele Vivian who expanded the brand to today’s standards, where it is now known throughout Europe.
The cosmopolitan European taste of each collection is a synthesis of the cultural and empirical path followed by Marie-France, a French woman who lived in London, and then Italy, whose clothes are based on mood, suggestions and unique and redefined designs. “I design only what I like to wear,” says the designer, who is guided by a passionate and inspired instinct, supported by twenty years of experience in the fashion industry.
Within her collection wool knits and silks create timeless clothes, that offer comfort at all times of the day. The use of inserts and details, often without context – closures from the world of leather, fur or fur trim, textured fabrics that hint at the world of upholstery materials – aims to play down the garments, making room for irony by drawing a feminine character that is defined and unique among current fashions.
